Home away from home

Hello everyone, it’s me, Hamad, so far it has been an amazing journey which started August last year, I want to recap my last year and share with you guys my experience as a student of MA International Relations.

Our department has the best faculty where every professor would love to assist if you encounter any problem with the subject, while their interactive teaching methods help you understand the dynamics of global politics. If you have any question or academic related problem, you may visit the teachers during their office hours and they would be glad to help you. During the first semester so many events were held at Tallinn University which makes one feel so comfortable to start the studies, wander around and make friends. I highly recommend you to apply for a tutor, who will help you basically with everything to get settled at a new place.

Everyone I met said that they fall in love with the city even though the weather gets harsh from dark cold days to long summer nights with midnight sun. Tallinn university is one thing you will never forget rest of your life, you feel so much love in the city. I know so many Erasmus exchange students who went back to their home countries but after some time, they came back again and few of them stayed in Tallinn permanently.

Tallinn University is a place where you are free to express your ideas and you will learn in an ultra-modern environment.

Like every student expresses their emotions when they leave this city by saying that their heart is crying but at least they have beautiful memories with them – they go on calling Tallinn as their second home. Anyone who is reading this piece of writing shall be sure that s/he will have the time of their life here at Tallinn University.

Eesti: Obnoxiously fabulous, or something like that!

I would not say that I’m the common type of student. My name is Valentin Châtelet, and as every regular fresh French young adult who used to live in the suburbs of Paris during their childhood, I went to study in the capital city when I turned 18. Yet all relevant comparison with my French peers ends at the very moment I became an undergraduate student in Estonian language in 2015.
